World map — AION 2

AION 2 has six named locations across the current global teaser, Chapter 1 history, and Season 2 history. Dawn Legion Base, Cantas Valley, and Ellun River Marsh belong to the current global scope; Morheim and Eltnen belong to Chapter 1; Lower and Middle Reshanta belong to the Season 2 Abyss history. Use list or map view to compare the names without treating historical regions as current global coordinates.

Current global locations

AION 2 / 01

Dawn Legion Base, Cantas Valley, and Ellun River Marsh are the three named locations in the current global teaser world. They anchor the shape of AION 2, but they are not a complete coordinate map. Use the names to orient yourself while keeping the current global scope separate from older region history. A location name answers where to begin, not every route or collectible question that may follow.

Movement is part of AION 2’s world. The game supports travel through the sky, across land, and through water, with walking, flying, and swimming all part of the player-facing model. The world is more than a flat list of zones: verticality and route choice matter. Read each location with the movement model in mind, especially when planning how to reach an activity rather than only naming where it appears.

The map toggle is a relationship view, not a GPS overlay. The six locations appear as a list or compact visual field, with version scope on every entry. Use that view to see which names belong to the current global line before looking for a specific quest, expedition, or PvP route.

Separate global, regional, and historical scope

AION 2 / 02

Morheim and Eltnen belong to the Chapter 1 regional world. Lower and Middle Reshanta belong to the Season 2 Abyss. These places show how AION 2’s live-service world developed across earlier content, but their presence does not make them current global launch coordinates. Use the version switcher to keep that distinction visible.

This separation matters when a map search combines launch information, regional live-service articles, and community screenshots. A location name can remain familiar while its content scope changes. Read the scope first, then choose the task: launch date, Abyss or faction-war mode, or named party destination. The same name can be useful history without being a current global destination.

No complete coordinate layer for hidden cube locations or a ruby location guide is available. If you search for “AION 2 hidden cube locations” or “AION 2 ruby location,” do not treat an unlabeled community pin as a global fact simply because it appears on a map. Use the named regions as anchors until a location-specific route is established.

Use the map for the next decision

AION 2 / 03

Start with the version selector. Current global shows the three current named locations, while history brings Chapter 1 and Season 2 into the comparison without blending their dates. Choose list view when name and scope matter most, or map view when you want the six locations arranged as a quick visual index. Switching view does not change the location or its scope.

Next, connect the location to the player task. For a party route, choose an Expedition; for faction conflict, open PvP; for a launch question, check the timeline. The spatial model is sky, land, water, verticality, and named regions. One map image does not contain every quest, chest, hidden cube, or resource location. Decide the activity first, then ask for the route detail that activity actually needs.

A focused map helps with current decisions. Identify which place belongs to which version, choose a route that matches the movement model, and open the dedicated activity when the question is known. If a future version adds a named region, attach its explicit scope instead of moving a historical name into the current global line.

Use the named locations as anchors for questions rather than as total coverage. Dawn Legion Base, Cantas Valley, and Ellun River Marsh orient the current global world. Morheim, Eltnen, and Lower and Middle Reshanta explain why regional history appears in older discussions. The movement vocabulary is walk, fly, swim, and read vertical space. From there, choose a destination-specific route when the question becomes an expedition, faction conflict, or quest. A good map question names both the place and the task: reach a party destination, enter faction conflict, understand a launch date, or look for a location-specific collectible. That pairing keeps a familiar place from being mistaken for a complete route guide. It also tells you which missing detail matters next: party size, faction rule, date, or exact location. Use that detail to choose the next action instead of treating the map name as the final answer. A named place is the beginning of a route decision, not a substitute for the activity’s own requirements.
